The Republican Who Still Believes in Working Together

I am a Republican.

I stand firm in that because my values are grounded in accountability, public safety, strong borders, economic discipline and a belief that government should serve people, not overwhelm them.

But here is the truth. My party affiliation does not limit my willingness to work with anyone who wants to move District 22 forward. This district deserves results, not political theater. It deserves stability, not constant division. It deserves leadership that knows the difference between holding firm and shutting people out.

I respect my Democratic colleagues. I understand the intention behind many of their ideas. I know their motivation often comes from a place of wanting to help. Intent, however, is not enough. We have seen policy choices that aimed to solve problems but created unintended consequences. We have seen emotional promises without practical execution. We have seen direction without discipline, and this district is the one that pays the price.

My focus is on solutions that work. Policies that strengthen families, protect communities and keep our district secure. I will stand my ground where principles demand it. I will collaborate when cooperation benefits our residents. I will do my very best not engage in partisan shaming. I will not feed into hostility. I will not treat neighbors as enemies simply because they vote differently—although, I would truly appreciate your vote.

District 22 needs serious leadership. Leadership that speaks plainly. Leadership that makes decisions with courage. Leadership that commands respect without demanding applause.

My commitment is simple. I will fight for the policies I believe in. I will listen to every voice in this district. I will work with anyone who puts the people of District 22 above party politics. Together, we can deliver real progress, real safety and real opportunity.

District 22 deserves strength, stability and common sense. And that is what I intend to bring.
